*IMPORTANT INFORMATION*

The zoom link to access the webinar is sent on the email registered at the time of registration and in a reminder email sent by the CPRLV two days before the event. It is also recommended to check if it is not in the junk mail.

The main objective of this training will be to offer participants a place to reflect on sensitive issues in the educational context. While Quebec, like other Western nations, is marked by certain political and social issues that are increasingly polarized and polarizing, the training will also be an opportunity to equip educational actors to address these sensitive conversations with youth. Different inclusive and constructive pedagogical practices will be presented, in order to enable youth workers to create open and safe spaces for dialogue with youth.

Objectives:

Learn the concepts of radicalization leading to violence and hate- motivated acts
Provide a space for dialogue on the issue of sensitive topics in an educational context
Identify the issues and effects that certain topics may have on students
Learn about helpful practices to address polarized and polarizing debates in educational settings
