Understanding Cultic Groups to Recognize Criminal Violence and Improve Interventions

This presentation aims to raise awareness about how cultic groups function. It will address the leader-follower relationship; different forms of control; and the ways people are victimized, considering, in turn, the experiences of people born or raised within a group as well as those who have joined as adults. Finally, Mike will discuss the services and collaborations which may serve to better prevent criminal victimization in cultic settings. This webinar will be given in both English and French and will include a Q&A session.
